McDonald’s x Minions

Description

Instead of just using the Minions in advertising, we created an O2O campaign leveraging AR interaction to engage the young generation, to be brave and break the rules. By scanning a Minion stamp on the actual burger, consumers experienced different interactions with Minions, from taking selfies to other unexpected games.
Hundreds of millions of AR interactions were generated. The campaign ranked 1st among all McDonald markets who collaborated with Minions, achieving double-digit comparison
sales.
